Making energy costs visible, measurable, and controllable
Most commercial and industrial facilities in Uganda pay a monthly electricity bill without knowing which part of the operation is responsible for the cost. Management cannot reduce what they cannot measure, cannot report on what they cannot attribute, and cannot make sound investment decisions — in solar, in efficiency, in new capacity — without accurate consumption data.
Orijtech Energy exists to close that gap. We install sub-metering, analyse the data, and translate it into the reports and recommendations that enable organisations to take control of their largest utility cost.

Uganda's commercial electricity tariff has risen significantly over the past decade — organisations that cannot demonstrate consumption control face uncapped cost exposure.
The UEDCL billing system bills monthly against a single incomer meter. Without sub-metering, a facility has no way to independently verify what it is charged or identify which part of the operation is responsible.
Energy efficiency investments — in solar, in variable speed drives, in LED lighting — cannot be properly evaluated without baseline consumption data. Most projects are oversized or under-specified because the data did not exist.
Sustainability and ESG reporting requirements are increasing for Ugandan organisations with international investors, development finance, or export market relationships.
